Virtual Reality for health-care trainings, presented at Laval Virtual

10 April 2017

SimforHealth with its teams will be present at Laval Virtual, the European exhibition of Virtual Reality, from Wednesday 22nd to Sunday 26th March.

They will be presenting, in particular, at Stand D29, an updated version of their MedicActiV platform, with a clinical case in virtual reality mounted on HTC Vive.

Developed in partnership with the Medical Simulation Center of the Nice Faculty of Medicine, this clinical case demonstrates the potential of virtual reality for health-care training. Equipped with a virtual reality head-set, the tester is immersed in a hospital setting and takes on the role of a doctor having to treat a patient admitted as an emergency with chest pain.

The demonstration will take place throughout the duration of the exhibition and visitors will be able to follow the tester’s actions on-screen.

SimforHealth is also co-hosting and participating in the e-health session on Wednesday March 22nd at 1030h, with a Keynote Introduction and round table discussions on technological advances in health.
