Stanford Medicine X: a new phase in the development of SimforHealth on the international stage
13 September 2016For the first time in the field of healthcare innovation, a company based in New Aquitaine will make the nearly 6,000-mile journey to California to present its solutions at Stanford Medicine X and thus help to make a name for the region on American soil.
Organized by the prestigious Stanford University, the main international conference dedicated to the medicine of tomorrow will welcome the SimforHealth team and their “MedicActiV” platform. Thanks to the innovative nature of this platform, which is dedicated to training all healthcare professionals through digital simulation, it has been specially selected to be demonstrated at the event, which will reach to more than 5 million participants.
SimforHealth will be present in Stanford from September 16 to 18, taking part in a round table on strategic trans-Atlantic business development after investment, led by Ronan Le Quéré, General Manager of SimforHealth, on Friday September 16.
Alongside Ronan Le Quéré, on Saturday September 17, Clément Goehrs, doctor and public health expert at Bordeaux University Hospital, will demonstrate the MedicActiV platform with a presentation based on the virtual cardiological clinical cases produced by Bordeaux University Hospital and the SimforHealth teams. Our teams will unveil a video that shows the integration of virtual reality in MedicActiV using the HTC Vive.
For SimforHealth, Stanford Medicine X represents an invaluable opportunity to demonstrate the international vision of a digital training platform for healthcare professionals that offers the possibility for initial and continuing training to evolve on a worldwide scale through virtual clinical cases. It is also the chance for SimforHealth to discover new cultures, to approach new players in the field and to look ahead to its arrival on the American market.
